PROGRAMMES OFFERED
Graphic Design Technology
The Graphic Design Technology programme combines creative thinking, visual communication and technology to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills required to solve communication problems through design.
The programme is predominantly practical, supported by classroom-based learning. Students are encouraged to apply design principles, experiment with creative techniques and develop solutions through individual and collaborative projects. Throughout the programme, students gain experience across a range of graphic design disciplines before progressing towards specialisation at Level 400.
The department provides a progressive academic pathway from short-term basic certificates to advanced postgraduate degrees
Postgraduate Levels
- Master of Technology (MTech) in Graphic Design (Weekend Option)
- Master of Technology (MTech) in Printing (Weekend Option)
Undergraduate Degree Levels
- 4-Year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Graphic Design (Regular)
- 2-Year BTech Top-Up in Graphic Design (Weekend/Evening for HND Holders)
Diploma & Higher National Diploma Levels
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Commercial Arts – Graphic Design Option (3 Years)
- Professional Diploma / Diploma in Arts & Design

Computer Graphics
Covers the use of design software for creating digital artwork and layouts.
Packaging Design
Explores the design of product packaging with emphasis on branding and functionality.
Photography
Covers camera handling, composition and image creation for design purposes.
Illustration
Develops drawing and visual storytelling skills for communication and design
Printing Technology
Introduces printing processes, color management and file preparation for print production
Web & UI/UX Design
Interface design, digital prototyping, user-centered graphic workflows and professional website design.
